Pastor William Spanjer

Pastor Spanjer holds an undergraduate degree in History from Nyack College and a Master of Divinity Degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. Licensed as a PCA minister in 1997, Bill was ordained as Pastor of Affirmation in November of 1999. He and his wife, Kristina, reside in Pine Bush, NY, with their sons, Andrew, Jacob and Thomas and daughters Emma and Abigail.

Elder Fridenvalds owns and operates a successful painting business. Ivars has been an Elder at Affirmation since 1993. He and his wife, Grace, reside in New Rochelle, NY.
Elder Mark Dobson

Elder Dobson is the Director of Operations with a privately held software firm. Mark holds an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education (Math), and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Clarion University. Prior to becoming an Elder in 2014, Mark had been a Deacon at Affirmation since 2003. He and his wife, Betty, reside in Peekskill, NY.
Deacon Gene Marbach

Deacon Marbach is a consultant in the areas of corporate communications and investor relations. Gene holds an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from Bernard Baruch College. He has been a Deacon at Affirmation since 1995. Gene and his wife, Lynn, reside in Somers, NY. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
